March 20 Field Trip

Dear Parents,

Did we really have Spring Break last week?  I left the sun in Florida, I'm afraid.  Now, we will hit the ground running with the events of the spring--field trips, the class play, and many more exciting events for our Fourthies!  On Wednesday, March 20, the Fourthies will attend a Naturalization Ceremony downtown in the United States Federal Court.  We will leave school at 9:15 and return at around 12:30.  The girls will need to bring a bag lunch, so that we can eat in the classroom.  They should also wear their field trip uniforms to school on Wednesday.  Did you think that you would ever get to use them?  We are excited about this field trip because we study Immigration this spring. The girls will have a real life event to connect to what they learn.

I hope that all of you had a wonderful Spring Break!

Sincerely,

Pam

You Rock, Fourthies! Congratulations!

Girls,
I followed you the entire time I was at the conference.  I tried to write you a letter on the blog, but my iPad would not cooperate.  During the Fai-Tea, you competed at the highest levels.  I am so proud of your work in math, your competitive spirit and your national pride!  You are great girls, and when I get back we are going to celebrate, but meanwhile, keep the pressure on our friends, the Brits!  Who knows?  Some day many years down the road, you may encounter one of these British competitors, and you can talk about our famous Fai-Tea experience.

Everyone, take part in the Fai-Tea today and on Monday!

Go, Fourthies!

Love,
Mrs. Roberts
